Jill Johnson is the CEO of the Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership (IFEL) and Workshop In Business Opportunities (WIBO). She has twenty-five years of experience as a business strategist with expertise in financial analysis, marketing, and business development . Jill has a B.A. in economics from Harvard University and was honored in 2007 as an NJBiz 40 Under 40 awardee and as a Women of Influence in Finance by the Women’s Fund of NJ. Jill started her career as a financial analyst at Goldman, Sachs in mergers and acquisitions where she worked across industries groups to help clients execute deals at a minimum transaction value of $100 million. She launched the Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership in 2002 with her father who had a newspaper publishing business for 20 years. As the CEO, has led the company in successfully winning contracts with the New Jersey Department of Labor, the Rutgers Center for Urban Entrepreneurship and Economic Development to provide entrepreneurial training and support services. She is a frequent speaker on topics including: community economic development, business plan development, entrepreneurship, nonprofit earned revenue development, minority and women small business growth and access to capital.
